Getting Started Eating Right

Do you struggle with getting started eating right?  You know you need to eat better because you feel sluggish and lethargic.  Eating foods that are fatty and too sugary will make your body react that way.  Yet, you don’t make the necessary changes.   Sometimes, it’s not even because of cravings.  Often it’s just habit.  You reach for the foods that are comfortable; comfortable to make and to eat.  They are easy, you have the ingredients in the house, and you know what they will taste like.  Even if they aren’t good for you, you eat them anyway.

At some point , you just have to make a change in eating habits in order to honor your health.  With only one body to care for, isn’t it time to act like that body counts?  If there’s anything you have control over (for the most part) it’s your own body.  The type of fuel you use to strengthen it is up to you.  You put a certain type of fuel in your car don’t you?  If it calls for a high-grade fuel you use it because that’s what takes care of the engine.  Without that, you can ruin this expensive machine.  Well your body is a machine too.  You can ruin it by putting in the wrong fuel.

Get started eating right with the next meal and stop with the excuses already.  Even if you have to make a quick run to the grocery store to buy fresh produce, go do it.  There’s no time like right now to make yourself, your longevity, your body, your priority.

Savor A Taste Of Raw

Eating raw, whole foods can quickly make a difference in your life and you don’t even have to go 100% raw to get the benefits. In fact, by simply replacing some cooked foods in your diet with more raw foods you can start feeling better very quickly
